Prospect New Town

Longmont, CO

Prospect New Town is the first New Urbanist community in Colorado (USA). Conceived as an antidote to conventional, suburban development, Prospect features narrow, tree-lined streets, parks connecting homes to shops and restaurants and a variety of architectural styles. This community won the Governors Smart Growth Award in 1996. My role is the Town Landscape Architect responsible for landscape design on streets and common areas, and I have been associated with Prospect since it’s inception in 1994.
